Margaret Campbell papers, 1937-1993.

Collection consists of correspondence written by Margaret Campbell from Murray, Kentucky to relatives at Lebanon, Tennessee during the 1937 flood. The letters contain descriptions of the flood at Paducah, refugees fleeing the disaster and its effects upon Murray State Teachers College and nearby community of Murray, Kentucky. Included with the collection are photographs, transcripts of the correspondence, newspaper clippings and a 1993 journal article that was based upon the letters.
